1. Are you going to help Monstroville?

As the tittle says, are you going to help them out? Right now you may be asking yourself a couple of questions that I maid to myself too so let’s get answering then.

    What is Monstrovile?

Monstroville is a new animated series about a a juvenile delinquent monster kid, Edward Von Ghastly, who lives in the haunted seaside town of Monstroville.

    What’s the story/plot behind Monstroville?

Ever wonder where Halloween candy comes from? If you’re brave enough to venture through the haunted woods, past the old Jack Hill Graveyard, you’ll find MONSTROVILLE!

Monstroville follows the misadventures of a juvenile delinquent monster kid, Edward Von Ghastly, who lives in the haunted seaside town of Monstroville.
Edward, with his mechanized sidekick, Gear, are always up to no good. The denizens of the town features all sorts of monsters, witches, ghosts, ghouls, and other things that go bump in the night. There are mad scientists, gruesome greasers, outer space monsters, even pirates, and other creeps lurking around every tombstone.

Edward’s family, the Von Ghastlys, is the most successful and oldest candy-making family in town. In his home, Monstroville Manor, Edward learns the time honored family tradition of candy-making. Their famous candy, “Ghastly Gruesome Goodies,” is made in their factory, which sits atop Spook Hill, the second tallest hill overlooking the town and the root beer sea beyond.

For centuries, Edward’s family has made their creepy brand of candy for Monstroville’s most beloved holiday, Halloween. Their marvelous candy concoctions have on occasion been known to spring to life and reek havoc upon the town and it’s up to Edward to help save the day.

One day Edward will be in charge of candy-making at the old mansion, but until that time he has to protect Monstroville from all sorts of seen and unseen menace and worse, mediocre candy produced by his family’s most unscrupulous rivals, Los Phantasmos. Their mediocre candy making facility is located in an old abandoned amusement island park and he has vowed to crush his number one candy making rivals, the Von Ghastly family!

    Who’s voice acting this?

Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Baron Von Ghastly, Clancy Brown (SpongeBob SquarePants, Highlander) as Gear, Mech Gear, and El Phantasmo, Carolyn Lawrence (SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron) as Elsa Von Ghastly, and Jason Marsden (Batman The Brave and the Bold) as Edward Von Ghastly.

I want to see what this is made of, is there a pilot or a test yet?

This is a animated episode pilot created using Flash, and some CG elements. It will also serve to help fund a Halloween movie special in the same vein as; “Mad Monster Party”.

This all sounds very interesting but what’s in it for me?

Depending on your donation you will get one of this amazing VIP perks.

Those perks got me interested in donating but how much are you actually raising, how will the funds be used and how much have you raised already?

The Monstroville project is currently raising $5,000 and has already raised $2,000.

    The funds will be used as followed;

Your generous donation will help pay for a storyboard artist ($2,000), post production ($1,000). The remaining funds will be used for additional things such as; payment for our team of artists, DVD duplication, and promo materials including; posters, buttons etc.

As you can see they are only using the funds to get a few more artist to work on the project and to get things off the ground, they are not raising money to actually make the episodes but to help the series get off the ground.

So the money is going to be used for that, in that case I’ll help out but where should I go to help and how much time do I have to help out?

To donate to the project you can go to Monstroville indiegogo’s page and the fund raiser is still on it’s early stages so you have 47 days to donate before IndyGogo takes the project off the site, so be quick and donate as much as you can.

If you still aren’t convinced, maybe this images will motivate you a little more.

If those amazing images still don’t convince you then maybe the rest of the gallery will. If you want to know more about the Monstroville project be sure to check out there blog. Last but not least if you don’t have much money or you just aren’t into donating, you can always reblog this post to get your followers to help out too.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and that you find it in your heart to donate to this amazing artist cause.
